2025: A Big Year, Real Talk, and What’s Next
Hello!
As we close out 2025, it feels like the right time to take a breath and be honest about what this year really was. It was big. It was challenging. And it was full of growth in ways that don’t always show up in a dashboard.
If this year felt like a roller coaster on your side, you weren’t alone. Some months, roles moved fast and teams were growing; other months, hiring freezes, delayed approvals, and shifting priorities made everything slow down or change direction. At the same time, more companies pushed harder on in-office or tighter hybrid policies while talent continued to value flexibility and balance, which made every search more nuanced, and strategic than ever.
Across IT, marketing, and executive search, the bar kept rising. Teams were asked to do more with fewer resources. Every hire mattered more. Candidates were weighing not just salary, but schedule, commute, culture, and whether the work actually aligned with where they want to go next. That made the conversations deeper, more thoughtful, and sometimes more complex — and that’s not a bad thing.
One of the real bright spots in 2025 was the number of meaningful connections we made with both candidates and clients. So many incredibly talented people have been in search mode much longer than they expected, and those conversations have been honest, vulnerable, and hopeful all at once. On the client side, we leaned into reality with you — having open, sometimes tough conversations about timelines, budgets, expectations, and what the market would genuinely support, while sharing market insight, brainstorming options, and staying in touch even when the “yes” took longer. Through it all, we embraced new tools and smarter ways of working, including AI, to move faster and be more targeted, while staying grounded in what has always mattered most: real relationships, honest feedback, and doing right by both clients and consultants.
On the leadership and executive side, searches became even more strategic. Organizations looked for leaders who could wear many hats, navigate change, and drive results in an environment that doesn’t stand still. Those searches took intention and patience, but the payoff is leadership that can actually carry a business into its next chapter — and that’s the kind of work that’s exciting to be part of.
In Q4, we also grew our own team so we can show up even better for you in 2026. We added a new internal team member to deepen our reach with both clients and consultants, bringing fresh experience and more capacity to move quickly when the right opportunity or role appears. And we’re not done yet — we’ll be adding again in early 2026, so stay tuned for an exciting team update coming soon.
One thing that will never change is how we work together internally. There’s a phrase I’ve started using when I talk about Intuitive: when you get one of us, you get all of us. Collaboration runs deep on our team — we operate as one, sharing market intel, talent networks, and perspective across IT, marketing, and executive search so you benefit from the full strength of Intuitive, not just a single point of contact.
As we head into 2026, here’s where our energy is focused:
- Staying transparent about what the market is actually doing, so you can make clear, confident decisions.
- Leveraging technology in smart ways, without losing the human connection that makes great matches possible.
- Prioritizing quality over volume — the right roles, the right people, at the right time.
- Helping you and your teams find sustainable, realistic ways to balance business goals with how people truly work best.
Looking ahead to early 2026, we’ll also be sharing more short, practical insights on topics like:
- How to compete for in-demand IT and marketing talent without overextending budgets.
- What realistic, attractive hybrid actually looks like in today’s market.
- How to structure executive searches so you don’t lose momentum midstream.
Thank you for being on this journey with us in 2025. The year wasn’t always easy, but it moved all of us forward — and that’s something to be proud of. Here’s to a 2026 that brings more clarity, more alignment, and more opportunities to build teams and careers that genuinely fit.
Cheers!
